I work for First glasgow, and the reason the LED screen doesnt change sometimes is this: if the bus goes off its proper coarse in any way, the system doesnt recognize it, and doesnt reset until the bus is back on coarse for about 10 or 15 minutes

I have found out what the LED screen inside some buses is for. It is new technology a bit like satilite navigation for cars called Streamline that tracks where the bus is. The routes 9, 12, 16, 16A, 18, 40, 45, 61 and 62 have got it. The routes 44, 44A, 66, 75 and 88 are going to get it. I think the 11, 20, 36, 175 and 275 might get it with the Wright Urbans coming in January and the ex London Dennis Tridents.

That might have something to do with the roadworks that have been going on for over a month. I was on two today and it was well past it befor it changed.
