Because you kept saying that Arriva was running the service, but in my head I was thinking you were talking about Wessex. but they have been taken over by FGW.
So you can see where all the confusion was caused lol...

Yes - Central Trains do run to Cardiff, on the service from Nottingham. However this unit is on an Arriva Trains Wales service to Milford Haven. No doubt Central Trains units are on loan to First Great Western in certain areas, but that's not really relevant as there's no connection with FGW in this case because, as I say, it's an Arriva Trains service.
Of course it's always possible that Central Trains could have loaned a unit to Arriva, but this unit does have Arriva branding (although it can't be seen on the photo). Central Trains used to operate services in Wales to places like Aberystwyth until the train operating company franchises were altered a while ago. When Central lost the services they operated in Wales to Arriva Trains they also gave up several of their trains to Arriva at the same time. Consequently several units can still be seen in green Central Trains livery but which are now operated by Arriva.

If you look at a few of the photos I have submitted on here "Wayne Gardner" I think there are a couple Central Train pictures at Redruth, Cornwall.
Now I'm sure most of you with at least a little knowledge know that Central Trains don't run in Cornwall. And also like I said, it was announced as a FGW Service, and it was a Central Train. Thats why I'm so sure they are on loan.
