These trains were moved to the island in the nineties, not the sixties. It was the old 'Standard Stock' of around 1927 that operated from the sixties.

The Future
Its an odd line, for the next few years I think it is safe but doom has always loomed over the line, and if another Beeching 2 happens I'm sure it would go.

I heard some talk about turning the line into trams, but cost of doing anything probably makes any scheme not viable. Keith
