The service up to Skipton on the Airedale line was severely affected this day. Had it been a weekday it would have thrown the whole system out as 333's alternate between Ilkley/Leeds/Bradford/Skipton routes, but on Sunday a simple back and forth service works between Forster Square and Leeds. Leeds is a little lower in altitude than Bradford and there was no lying snow there, so Skipton which is quite a bit further up must have had nearly half a foot.

Delayment
Yeah it was, interestingly they didn't run the 333's that Sunday. It was entirely diesel operation on the Airedale and Wharfedale lines.
