From reading up on the TfL web site's fact page, there appears to be 94 underground stations (needing ventilation). The remaining 181 are above ground. 45% of the London Underground network is in tunnels. David I agree London Underground does share some stations with National Rail like Kensington Olympia. However on the whole London Underground and National Rail stations are two different stations (for example Charing Cross). Keith

Can't exactly answer that one Andrew, but from what I know some of them are linked to a main station e.g Kensington Olympia, West Ruslip and London Charing Cross.
